SALUS HEART AND WELLNESS ANNOUNCES 2003 PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Stanford-educated Cardiologist Leads Twice Monthly,
Multi-Day Packages
SAN DIEGO – September 17, 2002 – Salus Heart and Wellness,
a spa for the heart and mind, today released their program schedule
through August of 2003. Salus, founded by Neil Treister, MD, a
Stanford-educated cardiologist, opened this past July in the exclusive
spa environment at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego, California.
Salus
programs run twice per month and are available in two-, three-
or four-day packages during select weekdays and weekends (view
Calendar). The longer packages of three and four days include
more comprehensive medical components such as cardiac evaluations
with cardiologist examination and computer assessment of cardiac
health.
Dr.Treister interacts with participants
throughout each program and leads various discussion groups.
“Three- and four-day packages
allow for more one-on-one time for consultation and are encouraged
for those who have higher risk for heart disease,” says
Treister. “The extended length of these programs allows
for more in-depth exploration of different healing practices and
holistic approaches to well-being.”
The
programs offer a variety of heart disease prevention and mindful
living components ranging from cholesterol screenings to red wine
tastings and meditation sessions.
“Our goal is to get people
involved in their heart health in a way that is most in tune with
their lifestyle and daily activities,” Treister continued.
